Someone commented on tight-rolled jeans in the previous post and I couldn't help but share.
This is just a preview of what's to come within the next week (my husband, J., is on the right) . He turns 30 next week and I've conspired to find childhood pictures to celebrate. I know, I know...he's going to kill me. Possibly the only good thing about him being a hemisphere away right now.

now THAT is awesome!

I was thinking the same thing when I posted earlier... I'm sure these were 80s fads, but in SmallTown, Pennsylvania, we rode them well into the 90s... thus making them even more embarassing now.
I love the acid wash, by the way.

I'm sure some of you are thinking, "wasn't that an 80's thing?" It's quite possible, even probable that many of my early 90's fashion faux-pas were indeed from the 80's, but if you grew up in a small town like both J. and I did, you know how long it took a fad to reach your town.
