thanks, Mom for explaining the Meme definition. I didn't know either...thought it was Me.Me.Me as in all about Me. Of course that would never fly in blogland...ha!
love Ramona too, and yes, I think E will love her as well.

I love Ramona too. I anticipate introducing Eve to her- right now we are in the middle of the Little House on the Prairie series- Farmer Boy to be exact. Although, we did take a little break to read Charlotte's Web. All such great books!

I was SO hoping no one would call me out on that quilt. The farthest I got was cutting out some pieces. I used to make "quilts" and patchwork blankets and I forgot how much time they took! To complicate things more, I don't really have a plan for how I want it to look (that would be helpful, right?). I think I'm just going to literally wind up sewing a bunch of pieces together and see what happens...

Such cute pics - I remember those books. My favorites all hang out around here too. Luckily my son is old enough to be getting into them now.

On another note - did you finish the V-day quilt? Are we going to get to see pics?

Okay... you SO completely lost me on this one that I had to hunt for a meaning to this "meme" concept. And guess what? I found this (at the Merriam Webster online site):

Main Entry: meme
Pronunciation: 'mEm
Function: noun
Etymology: alteration of mimeme, from mim- (as in mimesis) + -eme
: an idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture [I'm assuming the Blog-culture in this case]
